Green & Copper Christmas
Hello! The last few weeks I’ve been contemplating what colors to do this year for Christmas. Years past, I’ve done a lot of red but this year I wanted to do something a little different. No red this year- instead I’m doing a green and copper Christmas with black accents. To me, the colors feel a little classic/grown up which I like. I like planning out my decor to a certain extent; saves me from buying items I don’t really need/love. That’s something new I’ve started to do the last few years and it definitely helps me from over buying during the holidays.
I’m excited to be starting a new Christmas village collection this year! Pictured is the one I purchased for this year; I’m planning on adding to my collection each Christmas. Simple, yes. But there’s something about simplicity that I’ve been craving more of. Lately I’ve been in an organizing frenzy and yesterday purchased the book, “the life-changing magic of tidying up”, by Marie Kondo. I watched a few episodes of her show years ago but am excited to read the book and hopefully gain some new knowledge on how to be better organized.

Some of these items I already have on hand, some are for inspiration and some of them I plan on crafting-so stay tuned!
