Pottery Barn York Slipcovered Couch- 1 Year Later Review
It has been almost 1 year since we’ve had the Pottery Barn York Slope Arm Deep Seat Slipcovered Couches in our new living room addition. I have had these things saved on a Pinterest board for over 5 years now, knowing I wanted them in our new addition. When we added on, I waited til’ these guys went on sale and purchased them right away! Any Nancy Meyer movie you see, you will more than likely see a beautiful slip-covered sofa. Nancy Meyer aesthetic is my ultimate goal in my home! In my opinion, they are classic and timeless; something that will never go out of style. I wanted to give you all my 100% honest opinion about them and if I feel they are worth the money or not!
Style of Couch I Purchased
After much perusing, fabric samples and measurements, I decided on the:

The couch comes in 5 different sizes, ranging from 60 inches to 108 inches. After a lot of measuring Matt and I decided on the 95 inch long sofas and I think they fit the room perfect!

The fabric options are endless- I mean literally endless! I really was torn between a classic white/cream color and this grey; in the end I went with the grey and I am very happy with the color.

Comfort
These couches are SO SO SO comfortable! I love the deep size of them. Whether you are lying down or sitting, they are quite comfy.

There is an option to remove the back cushions for an even “deeper” style. I personally love the back cushions left on. But on a movie night when you are lying down, I could see moving them off for that- lots of extra room that way!

Durability
With 4 kids and 3 pets, I was a tad concerned about the upkeep of these. We are a “pets allowed on the couch” type of family and Marley and Shadow take full advantage of that daily. Marley perches his overweight cocker spaniel self on the back cushions pretty much every day. A little fluffing and the cushion comes right back to life! That is a big deal to me- our other back couch cushion (in our other living room) is very much indented by him permanently.

There have been countless stains on both couches, but they have all easily come off with a little Thieves dish soap and warm water. I recently removed the slip covers and washed them- they washed up great and made the couches look brand new once I put them back on!

Overall I am VERY happy with these York slipcovered couches! I honestly can’t think of one negative thing. The quality is very good and I do think they will hold up very well over the years. Definitely worth the money- I don’t see these going anywhere for a very long time.
