Cheery Christmas Home Tour
Merry Christmas!! A few more sleeps and Christmas will be here. All the decorations, preparations, baking, cooking, wrapping, shopping, magic and work (good job moms!) will come together for the big day. Some Christmas’ pasts I have been overwhelmed, felt exhausted, been lying in bed sick, been excited, among lots of other feelings and circumstances. This Christmas I can say, I feel peace. I feel gratitude. I feel anticipation for time with family and to celebrate Jesus’ birth. And I feel not sick! Yay!! I’ve changed up a few things to make this season a little easier on myself. I’ve worked hard this last month and did my best to plan and buy ahead. I can say this Christmas (thus far) has been the most smooth. Who knows what the next few days will bring and who knows how Christmas’s in the future will be- but right now, here in the present, life feels really wonderful and I feel so grateful for this time.
I’ve spent the last month bringing Christmas cheer to our home & want to welcome you all in. Grab a cozy seat, a mug of something warm and come on in to our cheery Christmas home.
Christmas Front Porch

I kept the front porch simple this year. I wanted a pair of faux cedar trees that I can easily put out every year. I found this pair and you can find them here. It definitely took a lot of fluffing to make these look full but the work was worth it- I think they look great!

The real magic lies in these lights. I bought these on a whim at Hobby Lobby and they really are beautiful lights. You can find them here.

Christmas Entry

Two entryway tables pushed together gives the illusion of one- I still love this set up- you can find the tables here. The tables are filled with ceramic Christmas trees, santas, a mini Christmas tree and of course, a diffuser. This time of year I love diffusing Christmas Spirit, Pine, Juniper and Peppermint – all the yummy Christmas scents!

Christmas Living Room
Our tiny Christmas living room is small BUT not scant on coziness.

Christmas Kitchen & Dining Room
One of my favorite projects I’ve done this past year is this dining room makeover. Every time I look at it, it makes me happy.

I adorned the kitchen with garland, wreaths, and tiny little Christmas items.

These wire shelves are a favorite thing of mine to decorate. I added a hot chocolate bar, candy canes and some sprigs of pine.

Christmas New Addition Living Room

This year, I switched up my placement of the Christmas tree from last year and love it so much more in this spot.

This table was supposed to be our “puzzle table” but it’s now more so my office area- where I craft and make bracelets.

Thank you so much for stopping by; I hope you enjoyed the tour! I know blogs aren’t really “in” anymore and I don’t post as often but I do love the nostalgic feel a blog post gives. And I love being able to still share on here with you all!
Hope you all have the merriest, best Christmas!
xoxo, Kayla
