Entryway Spring Refresh

Kayla

Next week we are supposed to have some warmer weather around here which is making me get excited for spring! I’ve started to plan out a lot of my spring projects and can’t wait to get started on those in the next couple of months. Yesterday, I worked on freshening up our entryway space and making it feel a little more like spring.

First thing I did was switch up the lamps in here. As always, I shop my home for decor and re-arrange things before going out and purchasing something right away.

I had this ceramic lamp in the laundry room and it barely got used. I really like how it looks in this space! You can buy it here.

For years I’ve wrapped fabric around 2 thin foam pads and made my own “cushion” for this bench. Emmy and I strolled Hobby Lobby to try to find some new fabric for the space but I couldn’t find any I liked. As I browsed through their spring section I saw this tufted cushion and knew this would be better than my diy one. I think this piece is technically meant to be used outside but no one will be the wiser. On-line I can’t find this color but they do have this navy one available. Very affordable and very plush!

Emmy approves of the bench. Morning hair and still in pj’s. Our favorite kind of mornings.

I re-arranged a few items on this old dresser but overall like to keep my decor pretty simple on here.

These pillows are both from Hobby Lobby. I really have had great luck finding good, affordable pillows and pillow covers there. You can buy the grey and white buffalo check pillow here and the black and white one here. For my favorite inserts go to this post.

Switching out pillows, adding a tufted cushion and bringing in a new lamp from another room, is all it took to bring some more spring vibes to this space. Happy Thursday!
