Halloween Fireplace Mantle with Stargazer Moravian Star String Lights
I really love this time of year! Creating cozy vibes in my home is one of my top priorities- one of my most favorite things to do. And this time of year makes it easy to do. Twinkle lights EVERYWHERE adds instant coziness. Last year I tried to get my hands on these stargazer moravian star string lights from Shop Terrain but they were sold out the whole holiday season. This year I made sure to grab them early and they do not disappoint! Grab a warm drink and come take a gander at our Halloween fireplace mantle.
Halloween Fireplace Mantle

One of the best decisions I have made was replacing our wood mantle on our stone fireplace. Go HERE to see all the details of that change out. Peep Conrad, our new kitten, in the photo below! Named by Aubree, inspired by “The Summer I Turned Pretty”. I have yet to watch this show but know I would probably love it. We sure do love him!

Details on the Halloween Mantle
I have had this artwork for a few years now and have changed up its spot multiple times in our home. I love it on the fireplace here – a bonus- it hides the outlet behind it. We grew up saying this prayer so it’s very special to me. Unfortunately, I cannot find it on her site anymore but she has lots of good ones still. Go HERE.

The flower artwork is from Hobby Lobby and I just love all the fall colors it has in it.

Many years ago, I put together this garland using grapevine and a metal leaf garland. Every year I put it up for fall and put different flowers/stems throughout it. This year I added these dried yellow stems I had on hand. I love the modern lights with the more rustic garland.

The black crows were a recent thrift store find! I think I paid .50c!

Around our area, Walmart is always the first to have these type of heirloom pumpkins. Blue is my favorite color of pumpkin to get. These faux candle sticks look SO much like the real thing. I have them all throughout our home.

Spooky Witch Emersyn Talked Me Into Getting on a Recent Trip to Home Depot

I’m really not big into super spooky decor items for Halloween- I don’t even like the fun huge skeletons people put in their front yards. I don’t know, I just don’t like it. But over the weekend, Emersyn and me were in Home Depot and she BEGGED me to get this witch. I mean, it is kind of cute. The frog pops up out of the cauldron and the witch says different things. So I gave in.

Random but do you guys remember certain dreams from your childhood, ones that have stuck with you over many decades?? I have this nightmare I remember, and it involved the wicked witch off of The Wizard of Oz and this witch slightly reminds me of her.

Regardless, she is ours now. She is under $40 and you can purchase her HERE.

Goodbye my little pretties!!
