Fall Decor Life & Motherhood Seasons

Our Favorite Fall Kids’ Books

Kayla

Hi friends! Yesterday it was 100 degrees out, today it was 47. As in Fahrenheit. That is Kansas weather for ya! I grew up in Nebraska so I’m pretty much used to it by now. I prefer the cooler weather, so bring it on I say!

For me, fall starts September 1st. That’s when I bring most of my decor out except for pumpkins and mums (one of the best parts of fall). Another thing I do is bring down all of my girls’ fall books. We have SO many kids’ books. I’ve found it’s best if I rotate them with the seasons so they don’t get overwhelmed with 100’s of books surrounding them. I have 4 bins and keep them up high in the girls’ closet. At the start of a new season, I’ll bring new ones out (any that pertain to that season among others) and store the other ones away. It never fails…. I always get smashed with a book avalanche as I try to put new ones up and bring ones down. I think I need to invest in another bin or a taller ladder.

Today I rounded up all of our favorite fall books. These have been my girl’s favorites, ones they always seem to reach for.

Emersyn is to the age where she LOVES having books read to her. I love it too except when she wants the same book read 8 times in a row. LOL. Her favorite right now is a small baby book about Thanksgiving. She really likes the page where they are eating their Thanksgiving meal around the table. Probably because she’s a little piggie!

Brielle has been obsessed with the book, “The Littlest Witch”, now since last fall. It’s the first book she wanted read to her the day I brought all the books down.

If I had to pick my top 3 favorites, they would be “Pumpkin Soup”, “At The Old Haunted House”, and “Room on the Broom”.

A book would make a great fall gift for a little one in your life. These ones are all Berry girl approved.

Thanks for stopping by!
