Whipped Peppermint Vanilla Hand Scrub
Hello! Happy Monday! This morning I whipped up some of this diy peppermint vanilla hand scrub and oh my gosh, is it so good! During this time of year my hands always get so dry; this stuff sloughs off dead skin and leaves your hands feeling so moisturized, soft and yummy smelling. It literally smells good enough to eat! I really love that this is all natural as well; no chemicals or crazy ingredients. I originally found this recipe here and wanted to try it for myself. Thought I would share it with you all!
Whipped Peppermint Vanilla Hand Scrub
Ingredients white sugar coconut oil jojoba oil (or any other kind of moisturizing oil) peppermint essential oil vanilla essential oil mixer jars with lids
Step One- set 1/4 c. sugar aside
Step Two- Add 1 c. coconut oil and 3/4 c. of sugar to mixer and whip until stiff peaks form
Step Three- add in 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil (or any type of moisturizing oil)
Step Four – mix in 10 drops of peppermint essential oil & 5 drops of vanilla essential oil- my favorite ones HERE
Step Five- fold remaining 1/4 c. sugar into mixture
Step Six- place in jars
I added some ribbon and a little candy cane. Aren’t they cute?! I plan on gifting these for Christmas. This recipe makes roughly 12 oz.
Since this is all natural it will stay good for up to 6 months. I don’t think I’ll have a problem using it all up before then!
These would make a great teacher gift; attach a gift card and you are done!
Or stocking stuffer!
Last year I made bath salts using my essential oils to gift for Christmas; you can find that recipe HERE.
