Fall Home Tour – Glowing Lights, Cozy Textures & Nature Indoors

Kayla

It is officially fall!!! Woohoo!! It doesn’t feel too much like fall yet here in Kansas, we are still having pretty warm weather unfortunately. Hopefully by October it cools down! The house is all decked out for fall and it feels so cozy. The other night I watched “You’ve Got Mail”, for the first time in my life. Like, how have I never seen that movie before?!? Oh my gosh – LOVED it and it will now become a tradition every fall to watch it. I love feel good movies like that and curled up on the couch with all the twinkling lights and faux candles(I don’t light the real thing) – it was just the best. On Instagram last week I shared on stories a thought: that you have to create your own anticipation in life and to find the joy in the small things. Give yourself something to look forward to – for me this weekend it was that movie. Get cozy wherever you are, grab a cup of coffee or cider and welcome to our home.

Fall Entry

To see more of the porch go HERE.

The star of the entry would be this beautiful 6 foot tall, Autumn Birch Artificial Fall Tree. I have purchased multiple products from Nearly Natural and have been impressed each and every time. This tree is just beautiful and I can put it out every fall season indoors or out!

My Aria diffuser puts out yummy fall scents – love having it in the entry, especially when guests come. Emersyn and me put these cute spider stickers all over the diffuser glass – they come easily off and are cute for Fall/Halloween!

I quickly painted the base of this lamp black the other day – easy change up for fall! And I’ll honestly probably paint it back to white for Christmas!

Fall Living Room

I kind of have a thing for jack-o-lanterns – you’ll see them all throughout the house.

On these floating shelves, I simply changed out some artwork, using prints I saved from last fall. I added a couple wood mushrooms on some books along with a couple flickering candles. Emersyn and me painted this cute light up jack-o-lantern. Go HERE to see our easy Halloween crafts we did!

Switching out pillow covers is always something I do for the different seasons. I always think of the word “texture” when I think of fall. Adding fluffy pillows is always a must when the weather starts to cool down.

Fall Kitchen

I found this fall leaf garland at Hobby Lobby for under $15! It is SO good! I hung it by simply draping it along the curtain rod. I first tried command hooks but the garland fell after 1.333323 minutes.

Peek the fall leaves in the pantry transom window! I love the pop of color the yellow leaves add.

My house decor leans more towards fall than any other season – this moody gallery wall in the kitchen is perfect for fall. And of course….. another jack-o-lantern. I have my desert mist diffuser in here – it flickers like a candle!

We are still LOVING these benches for our island – go to this post for more information!

Cute fall label on my Thieves cleaning bottle – all I did in this area, along with some pretty zinnias from my garden.

Fall Dining Room

I simply re-styled these shelves and added this fur throw over the bench. My friend gave me some gourds which I simply added to our dining table – along with…. another jack-o-lantern. 🙂

Fall Master Bedroom

Twinkle lights draped on some logs in our diy fireplace.

That concludes the fall tour! Thanks for stopping by!!

xoxo,

Kayla
