Master Bedroom Moodboard
Hello!!! It’s felt like forever since I’ve done a blog post and I am excited today to be posting one! Sometimes, I have creativity and ideas busting out of me; other times I have nothing. Lately I haven’t had much but in the last few weeks I’ve decided to start on our master bedroom makeover and I am STOKED!! All of my Christmas cash is going towards this makeover- a lot of times I’d rather buy stuff for our home other than clothes or whatnot. I feel like the master bedroom can a lot of times be the last spot to spend money on when it comes to the home or that’s been the case for us anyways. Our bedroom has felt like an afterthought all these years but I am ready to make it a relaxing, beautiful space that we love to be in!
Mood Board
This is the mood board I’ve been working on- I now ALWAYS do a mood board when designing a room- helps me visualize how everything will look together. Some of these items are inspo pics, some items I have already purchased. This bed is my DREAM bed that I hope to have someday- right now it’s not in our budget- so I ended up purchasing a much more affordable headboard that I know I’ll still love.
“Go big or go home”, is my mantra for this space. I really want to push myself in designing this space- I’m thinking lots of color, this blue/green color will be the paint that adorns our walls. The settee is GORGEOUS and is now a closeout item; I just received it the other day and am very impressed with it. And it’s really comfortable as well. I choose to spend more money on items that I truly love – like the Euro shams; but then spent less money on our duvet cover. I scored this fireplace for $100 on facebook marketplace!! Literally the best find ever!!!! I can’t wait to show you all what I’m planning on doing with it to make it look more built in to our room.
In my head I have a Terrain/Spa vibes look. That’s the only way I know how to explain it, lol. So excited to be starting on this space- can’t wait to take you all along on the journey!!
