Stone Fireplace Mantle Refresh

Kayla

Happy Wednesday! I’ve had a very productive day so far and it has felt so good! I woke up earlier than usual which always makes my day go better. Emersyn and me had a tea party this morning along with a puppy and frog, complete with pretend cookies, eggs and lettuce. It was a nice assortment of food. 🙂 I got laundry done and put away, new books rotated down for the girls, rooms cleaned, floors mopped, master bath cleaned, payroll done for our business, etc. Always feels good to get a lot done before noon!

Today I wanted to share our stone fireplace mantle that I recently took winter decor down from and re-styled. Moving our tv off of here has been so awesome, for me anyways! I love having more options to style the mantle.

Decorating between the months of January and March can be kind of hard. It’s still freezing out, well where we live anyways, but by the middle of January I am usually ready to take down all of my Christmas/winter decor and start fresh. This mirror is my favorite mirror I own and I love it on the fireplace. I tried a larger mirror in this space but wasn’t a big fan; this one works much better in my opinion.

On a recent trip to Target I found these glass jars and knew they would be great on our fireplace. I bought some faux stems from Hobby Lobby along with some dried eucalyptus to freshen up the mantle. The framed print is from one of my favorite shops in our downtown.

My favorite faux candles, along with an old book complete the other side of the mantle. Fresh, simple, really pretty, a little ode to spring but not full on out. Perfect for the next few months!
