The other night I couldn’t sleep for the life of me. You ever have a day when you are SO exhausted and at dinner time you are counting down the hours til’ you can climb into bed and doze off into a dreamy slumber? You get the kids to bed, wash your face, clean up the house, climb into bed and then…. can’t fall asleep. One of the most frustrating things! Well, when I can’t sleep I tend to scroll Pinterest and while I was scrolling an image came up of a store front with cute chalk art on the windows. And then I thought how cute it would be to do this on a window at our home. Sometimes the best ideas are born from sleepless nights.
I think this adds so much charm and coziness. And all you need? A chalk paint pen.
Night time views are definitely prettier than day time but I still love the charm it adds to this area during the day.
