Every year I try to add to our collection of Christmas books. Unfortunately, there have been a few book deaths, due to the little hands of Emersyn, but all of these pictured have made it out alive. (For now.) But for real, Emersyn relishes in tearing apart books, paper, magazines, really whatever her little hands can get ahold of. Another favorite past time of hers at the moment, grabbing any writing utensil available to her and drawing on whatever her little heart desires. The toilet, walls, furniture, dolls, books, etc. Nonetheless, we still love her, destructive hands and all!
We always read “The Night Before Christmas” the night before Santa comes. We’ve been doing this tradition ever since I can remember and it’s one we all treasure.
Favorite Christmas Books
Emersyn loves the “Christmas Songs” book! It plays 10 different Christmas songs and is hardcovered. (Emmy has still managed to tear apart a couple of hard-covered books. I don’t really know how. But so far, this one has held up!) This would make a great gift for a toddler for Christmas.
Isn’t it the best when your older kids can read to your younger ones? It’s something that I always love to see.
