DIY Frame TV With No Power Tools Needed

Something that’s been on my wish list for quite some time is a frame tv. I love the fact that you can make your tv look like a piece of art- nothing kills the vibe more in pictures than a large black tv. And for someone who shares decor and design, it even bothers me more. With that being said, frame tvs are quite pricey and not something we wanted to spend our money on at the moment. So, with a quick trip to Home Depot and about 45 minutes, I created our own diy frame tv.

Supplies For Frame TV

Fluted Board Trim Pieces (I found mine at Home Depot)

Glue Dots

Multi Angle Miter Shears

Paint of Choice

DIY Frame TV

After searching for a while down this aisle in Home Depot, I settled on these solid wood fluted boards. Keep in mind you don’t want anything too heavy, otherwise the glue dots will not be able to hold the boards to the tv.

I measured the tv, made my marks on the board and used these shears to make my cuts. This tool is under $15 and makes the project a breeze, no power tools needed.

Simply attach your glue dots to the back of the boards and adhere to the tv. SO EASY!!!

My plan is to do this to our small bedroom tv as well! I even have an idea for some diy art that would make this frame even better- if it is a success I will let you all know!
