Hello friends! It’s officially fall and that makes me SO happy! The mornings and evenings have been cooler and I’ve enjoyed being able to sit out on our front porch and not melting. So, one of the things I was most excited to get was this Bissell Spot Cleaner. I’ve had my eye on this guy for over a year now. Since we are making over our kitchen right now (go to this post to see our plans), I told Matt it was either buying this cleaner for our barstools or getting new ones (he agreed). I am not even going to show a before picture because it was that bad. And I had tried everything- scrubbing with a rag, a scrubber, various cleaners, etc. With 4 kids they were pretty gross looking and after 1 time of cleaning them with this spot cleaner, I was amazed! I used my Thieves cleaner in lieu of the cleaner they give you with it and it worked perfectly. I know I will be using this all of the time. Very impressed with how well it works!
I was looking for a type of tote bag to use to house a mum on my porch and found this set for right around $10.
Shackets are all the rage and after wearing this one the other day, I am on the shacket bandwagon! Perfect to layer over a tee or tank, can leave unbuttoned or buttoned up and this one is super cozy and comfortable.
I am an essential oils LOVER and roller balls is one of the quickest, easiest ways to get your oils on you. This set is great. For all the calm vibes I added frankincense, orange, peace and calming, cedarwood and topped it off with grapeseed oil. I roll this behind my ears and on my wrists. An added bonus- it doubles as a perfume!
Along with trying to live a healthier lifestyle, I got rid of our toilet bowl cleaner a while ago and use my Thieves soft scrub. I needed a little extra cleaning power and decided to try this Pumie Toilet Bowl Remover that is all natural. Holy moly! This thing works! Very impressed and something I will be repurchasing in the future.
I’ve wanted a stair basket for a long time and found this one on Amazon. It’s so nice to be able to throw stuff in the basket that the girls need to put away and not have a pile on top of the stairs. I will say that on Amazon’s website the basket pictured is much lighter than the one sent to me but I actually don’t mind that it is darker. Something to keep in mind though!
Since we are re-modeling our kitchen, I have been searching for organizational items for our drawers as well. I found this nice kitchen drawer organizer and really like it.
We LOVE books over here and after reading this book, I decided I wanted to start a collection of Helen Cooper’s children books. I love her writing and illustrations. I purchased 5 of her books on Amazon, links are below, and we love them all.
