DIY Antique-Looking Picture Frame Magnets-Fridge Decor
Hello!! Happy December!! This time of year I am a crafting machine- I love crafting- and always feel most inspired during this season. Our fridge is easily seen from all of the main parts of our home- usually it’s adorned with art drawings, calendars and whatever else the girls or me decides to throw up there. But because it is front and center in our home- I really wanted to find something to go on it that would look more like decor to me. Enter these ” DIY Antique-Looking Picture Frame Magnets”. This such an easy, fun diy and I LOVE the way our fridge looks now!
Antique-Looking Picture Frame Magnets
Supplies
- Small antique looking frames (I purchased these ones)
- Paint
- Small paintbrush
- Hot glue gun
- Pictures
These small frames were such a good price on Amazon and came packaged individually. The color was a little too bright of a gold for me, so I used black and a gold acrylic paint to create a more champagne colored brass. They match perfectly with our kitchen faucet now.
Because I am an impatient person, I decided last night to try and print pictures out on our printer at home instead of waiting til’ the next day to have them printed at Walgreens. And I think they look great! I used hot glue to attach magnets to the back of the frames as well as the pictures.

This was such simple, affordable diy and I literally LOVE these so much! I just think they are adorable!
I chose to do black and white photos in these frames- we just got these family pictures done a few weeks ago and I just can’t believe how blessed we are to have 4 beautiful daughters.

These are adorable!!! I’d love to see the back. Like what size magnets and where to purchase and if that is just computer paper how it held up to a magnet being glued to it. Love this project!

Thank you! I just cut strips of the magnet and hot glued them to the back of the frame. Then I hot glued the picture to the magnets on the back- and it was just regular computer paper! All of the pictures I printed in a 2×3 size, one I did 3×5. I have the frames linked in the blog post!
