Wallpaper in Guest Bath

Kayla

Hello! A few months ago I did a board and batten treatment to our guest bath, along with giving it a makeover with some stick and peel tile, among other things. Even though I loved it, I felt like there was something missing. Our 4 girls all use this bathroom and I wanted to bring some warmth and whimsy into the space. I found this wallpaper and knew it would be prefect in here!

This board and batten is so pretty and I really wanted to create some contrast on the wall above it to make it stand out even more.

Isn’t that wallpaper gorgeous?! I am seriously in love with it! Whimsical, feminine, and the colors are so pretty. I especially love how the brass looks with it.

A new shower curtain should be on the way soon. I ordered it back in November and still haven’t received it but I think it will be so good in here so fingers crossed it shows up soon.

The wallpaper does exactly what I thought it would do; makes the board and batten stand out much more now. Over Christmas we watched a lot of movies from around the 90’s (go here for our favorite Christmas movies) and in some of my favorite homes in movies, the homes are covered in wallpaper. There’s something so cozy and comforting about it. On Pinterest or Instagram wallpaper is all of the rage right now. Lets just say, I am here for this trend!

I am beyond glad we added this sliding door and cabinet in this little area. The sliding door is so much more functional and this cabinet houses towels, washcloths, medicines, etc.

I used rub n buff on the shower head and it has held up great! The other shower hardware, not as much, which I expected because it gets wet every time this shower/bath is used. But I still am glad I did it! Someday we will get new hardware.

I had some wallpaper left over so gave this little stool a makeover. Isn’t it cute?!

To be totally transparent, this wallpaper was not the easiest to put up. I have used other stick and peel wallpaper designs and have had no trouble getting it to stick to my textured walls. This was a different story though. I really did have some trouble getting this to stick so made sure to use a credit card to really adhere it to the wall. Even if I knew it was going to be kind of a pain to put up, I still would’ve went this this wallpaper because of the design and price.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Kayla
